Course Objective: Seasoned HVAC technicians as well as Building, Plumbing or Electrical inspectors will feel confident about inspecting plumbing and gas systems after attending this class. Understanding confined spaces, combustion air, appliance venting, as well as different types and requirement of commercial hoods are important to reading the code.

Method of Evaluation:A series of pre and post progress tests and reviews are used. The student will also be provided with a series of worksheets that help demonstrate how related tables and code sections interact. Interactive instructor lectures will help the student understand proper code interpretation and avoid common mistakes in the field.
