Course Objective: Types of Construction, Occupancy Types are the keys to the International Building Code. This course is designed to make the student familiar with these terms and to have a good working knowledge of concrete, brick, live loads and dead loads

Method of Evaluation:A series of pre and post progress tests and reviews are used. The student will also be provided with a series of worksheets that help demonstrate how related tables and code sections interact. Interactive instructor lectures will help the student understand proper code interpretation and avoid common mistakes in the field.
